Her biggest disadvantage is that she provides few offensive boons, but her damage mitigation buffs are very good and can be the difference between a high or low damage-focused build. Her Duo boon applies weakness to enemies each when you strike them, which is particularly useful during battles where it's hard to avoid being hit, like in Elysium or Styx.
Athena, like her cousin Zeus at times, is often overconfident and think she is more knowledgeable than anyone else. She doesn't appear as close to her cousin as some of the other Olympian gods and she's often in a negative view of Zeus.
Similar to Hermes, Athena can offer amazing god boosts for almost every weapon in the game. However, her attack boosts aren't as powerful and it's usually preferring to use a god with a higher multiplier of attack like Poseidon or Athena. The shield special attack can cause a Chill effect which slows enemy movement speed, and her Frost Flourish boon can increase your attack damage and attack damage, but it's not as effective as other gods that have these powers. Her blessings are very helpful and should be embraced when available.
Demeter
